Art enthused tattooist, Cody has been tattooing professionally since 2018 at well established studios up and down the west coast, and most recently opened a shop near his hometown, Tacoma, Wa. When he isn’t tattooing you can most likely find him barefoot near a river or meandering around the desert with his wife, daughter and dogs. Cody’s main goal in life is to put forth as much compassion and positive energy into the world as he can.As a tattooist, and an avid client himself, he sees so many times when someone who heals through pain and art is left wanting by either a quickly done or uninterested artist, not only that but there are thousands of people who can’t afford even the smallest size tattoo in modernized studios, this he wants to not only bring attention to, but be a different experience for his clients. Cody uses an appointment based system, so clients can experience their tattoo to the fullest, without a full room of people. Since Cody has adopted a healing based approach, he has developed a new insight into the purpose and potential of a tattoo studio when the purpose is to help people. Cody stays in the current moment with his clients, better able to tune into their process, their lives, struggles, triumphs, fears, goals, any and all things that can pop up in a session. His passion for growth and connection fuels into this approach to art and tattooing.
